Our customers
We believe that by constantly merging our customer’s requirements with our own technical expertise we are able to produce products and services which meet our customer’s needs through technical advantages and innovation such as higher production throughput, more accurate testing and more information per test. We enable our customers to not only test their current production portfolio but also develop test solutions for their next-generation technologies.
We do this by
Being responsive and flexible to customer’s needs
Constantly improving the quality of our products, services and manufacturing processes
Providing clear and efficient communication between customers and our staff to ensure we get the right people talking to each other
Providing training for our staff to improve their personal performance and knowledge for the benefit of the customer and themselves
Ensuring our customer’s confidential information is treated securely and with care
Welcoming customer feedback on our performance by email, phone and via our website
Providing a process to deal with any complains should our service fall below the high expectations of our customers and ourselves
Constantly developing and improving our management systems
Upholding our values of openness, honesty, respect and integrity in all our dealings with customers.
Our employees
Our aim is to be here for the long term, and to do that we offer rewarding roles with training and career progression. We value commitment and reward our employees accordingly. We recognise the importance of experience and enthusiasm, regardless of age. The reward is open internal communication and a very low staff turnover.
We demonstrate diversity in recruiting, believing this creates real value for the company and reflects our global customer base.
Working with high voltages and high currents is a serious business so we are always prepared to call out unsafe situations and practices and strongly believe in leading by example. We ensure our employees have access to the appropriate safety equipment and training so they are constantly aware of how our actions affect the safety of others.
Our environment
Power semiconductors play an ever more significant role in energy efficiency and emissions reduction, through the increased used of wind and solar power generation and increased electrification in the automotive sector. ipTEST plays a part in this process by maximising the efficiency of our semiconductor test equipment.
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and to the continuous improvement of our environmental performance. We comply with all relevant environmental legislation, we support our customers environmental policies and encourage our employees, suppliers and partners to consider their impact on the environment and minimise their waste. Our largest manufacturing partner is qualified to ISO14001.
We are always looking to reduce our environmental impact, constantly asking ourselves whether the work we do is being done in an environmentally friendly and resource-conserving manner. When designing new equipment, consideration is given the choice of materials and processes to minimise the environmental impact during the design, manufacturing, working lifetime and at the end of the life of the equipment. Our aim is to minimise the material content, use recyclable materials wherever practical, give advice on which materials are used and to offer guidance to customers on how to recycle our products at the end of their life.
ipTEST management put environmental concerns at the heart of our business decisions by reviewing progress at quality management meetings, encouraging employee participation in formulating environmental policies, promoting awareness and providing employee training.
Specific changes we have brought about include replacing office lighting with low-energy LED lights, specifying recyclable or reusable packaging for our products wherever possible, designing them so they can be returned by customers for recycling and by encouraging more use of electronic communications such as video calling for remotely supporting customers instead of flying.
